Volunteer

come for an hour. come for a day.

The Bridge is run by the community, for the community and it isn't without our volunteers that the ministry of The Bridge would be possible. If you would like to volunteer as an individual, group, or business - all are welcome! Previous experience is not required - we provide training for any and all volunteer positions. Try on a shift and see what you think!

VOLUNTEER AT THE CURRENT STORE:

Baseball Gloves

Volunteer at the Loons Stadium

It's Loons Baseball Time! There is an opportunity to raise money for the Bridge Food Center by volunteering at the Loons Baseball Stadium.  The Bridge is scheduled to volunteer at 5 games -f 2 kid’s day games (15 volunteers/game) and 3 evening games (10 volunteers/game).  The Bridge will earn $100/volunteer (which will be doubled by a matching donation) for the two kid’s games (possible $3,000/game) and $50 for each of the evening games (possible $500/game).  Volunteers must be 16 years old or older.  The dates are listed below and our website has been updated for you to be able to sign up.  The time commitment is from 8:00-1:30ish for the kid’s games and 5:00-8:45 for the evening games often allowing you to catch the last couple innings.

What does volunteering at this event look like?

For the kid’s games, the volunteers are “runners” - securing the ordered food and drinks at the concession stands.  For the evening games volunteers will be at the pavilion serving a buffet style meal followed by clean up afterwards.  For all the games, parking is free and one free non-alcoholic beverage will be provided while volunteering so please eat before coming or plan to purchase food after your shift is completed.  They accept cash at the kid’s day games but otherwise the stadium is cashless so please plan accordingly.
